Abraham Aranguren is the founder and CEO of 7ASecurity (7asecurity.com), an ISO 27001 and SOC 2–certified cybersecurity consultancy and OWASP Platinum Supporter specializing in high‑quality, manual penetration tests and secure code audits. He has more than 24 years of experience in IT and over 17 years in information security, leading engagements for organizations such as the Linux Foundation, Mozilla, the Tor Project, The Guardian, and many others.
Abraham is the lead author and primary instructor for 7ASecurity’s Mobile, Web, and Desktop (Electron) application security courses, which have been delivered at top‑tier conferences including Black Hat USA, DEF CON, OWASP Global AppSec (San Francisco, Singapore, Dublin, Lisbon), LASCON, Nullcon, BruCON, NorthSec, and CODE BLUE Tokyo. He is also the OWASP OWTF project leader, maintaining one of OWASP’s flagship open source projects (owtf.org).
