About me
Jeff Williams is the Founder and CTO of Contrast Security, where he is pioneering runtime application security and Application Detection & Response (ADR). For more than 25 years, Jeff has helped shape the field of application security—as a founder and former Global Chair of OWASP, founder of Aspect Security, founder of Contrast, and creator of projects including the OWASP Top Ten, WebGoat, ESAPI, and ASVS. He remains an active open-source contributor, including work on CycloneDX and other industry projects. Today, Jeff is focused on reinventing application security for the AI era by using runtime intelligence to make securing software dramatically simpler, faster, and more effective.
